Our SPARK courses are overseen by Rob Cousins, Director of Music and the Performing Arts at St Andrew’s Prep, and run by his dedicated team which has a wealth of experience in the performing arts.

easter courses 2025
We are delighted to announce two Easter Courses aimed at all pupils who love musical theatre, singing, dancing, acting and performing.
For younger pupils (Years 1-4) we are running another SPARK Musicality Junior course. Jenny Jones and Raphy McDavitt-Lowe return to lead the course from Monday 7 – Wednesday 9 April 2025. Children will learn a series of songs and dances and some acting and drama games over three mornings culminating in an informal performance to parents. For those who would like to stay on into the afternoon the option remains for an extended course with crafting and games linked to the performance the children are working towards.
For older pupils (Years 5-8) Rob Cousins and Chloe Campbell will be running the Musicality Middles Course, this time looking at songs and routines from Wicked, Hairspray and some acting scenes from the musical ‘Frozen’. This is a full 4 day course running from Monday 7 – Thursday 10 April 2025.
Children from any and all local schools are welcome to attend.

Both courses will run at St Andrew’s Prep in the Durlacher and Richardson buildings this Easter.
Save the dates for our summer courses – three courses are planned for all ages (5-18!) including another fully staged show for the Middles at the Birley Centre. These courses will run between 20-26 July (Middles and Seniors) and 28-30 July (Juniors) so please put the dates in your diaries with full details to follow and meanwhile get ready for a creative and exciting round of Easter courses in April.
