Visit to The White Cube gallery
On Tuesday, 24 Year 11 pupils visited The White Cube gallery in Bermondsey to see the special commission vitrine by Anselm Kiefer, as well as thought provoking installations inspired by the migrant and personal crisis by Doris Salcedo.
Pupils then visited the Tate Modern to review work in a number of galleries and looked for inspiration for their personal coursework portfolio for GCSE. A quick treat at the end of the day was visiting the spectacular viewing platform on the tenth floor of the Blavatnik wing of the Tate for spectacular views of London and a quick snack before returning to Eastbourne.
