Verdi’s Requiem
With about 200 performers, including some 40 College singers, and a capacity audience including the Mayor and Mayoress, St Savour’s Church was the venue on Sunday 27 April for a major event.
The College Choral Society joined the Eastbourne Symphony Orchestra and its own chorus plus singers from Eastbourne Choral Society, Hailsham Choral Society, Phoenix Choir, and students from the University of Chichester, all under the baton of ESO’s Graham Jones (former College Director of Music), for a sold-out performance of Verdi’s Requiem.
