UK Linguistics Olympiad
Henry Miller, Year 13 Powell, has recently heard that he has achieved a top 18 place in the first round of this year’s United Kingdom Linguistics Olympiad competition. He has been selected for the next round and will be considered for a place in the national team.
His achievement is particularly impressive in view of the growing numbers of competition entrants – almost 1200 advanced candidates this year, compared with 982 last year.
