Three teams in three finals
The hockey season has started off superbly for all teams and the College’s 1st XI, U16A and U14A teams will be playing in the girls Sussex Hockey finals later this week.
At the recent county tournaments, the 1st XI won all four games in the County Cup, scoring 17 goals and only conceding two. Inspired by the first team’s performance, the U16s won their first two fixtures and narrowly lost the last one in their Sussex group stage. The U14s also played extremely well in the group stage and this young side won two games and drew two.
Yet again, Eastbourne College is the only school in Sussex which, at each of these three levels, we have a team in the final. This is a fantastic achievement and continues the phenomenal record of girls hockey at the College.
