The Musicians
Three superb performances of Patrick Marber’s play, The Musicians, were recently delivered by a talented group of Year 9 and 10 pupils. Despite very busy academic, sporting and co-curricular timetables the fifteen pupils worked tirelessly to stage this thoroughly entertaining play.
Each evening the Le Brocq Theatre audience was treated to an amusing, and at times touching, performance of this very clever play. Led by Katya Goodwin and James Tomlinson, the whole cast rose to the challenge and performed with wit, humour and outstanding comedic timing.
The other cast members were Rafael Barber, Bertie Beeching, Nadya Boboshko, Mia Finnamore, Ed Hodges, Darcy Joyce, Mille Ngai-Lenoir, Imogen Russell, Kat Slaymark, Ed Towey, Stacey Vlasyuk and Amelia Why. Lighting was provided by George Williams.
The performance was produced and directd by Mr Paul Lowden, with assistance from Mr Paul Turner (sound), Ms Gillian Toft (artwork) and Ms Laura Neal (costumes and props).
