Sussex Cup final again!
At the end of last week the U14A girls hockey team played in the Sussex Cup and qualified for the regional finals. They scored ten goals in their five group games and conceded just one. Winning four out of five games plus a draw sent them through to the semi-final where they beat Ardingly. They then faced Hurstpierpoint in the final, and eventually ended up as silver medallists. It was a superb team effort and they can look forward to the regional heats.
There are no guarantees in sport but this is the 11th time in 12 years that an Eastbourne U14 girls hockey team has played in the Sussex Cup final and has claimed nine titles. This is also the sixth consecutive year that the College U18, U16 and U14 girls teams have competed in the Sussex final and in the regional heats.
