Sussex County Cup finals 2019
On Tuesday 12 March, the 1st XI hockey team were playing in the Sussex County Cup finals. They had an excellent game against Seaford College in the semi-finals with Ben Fox scoring a goal in the second half to take them into the final The final was against Hurstpierpoint College and Barney scored a goal in the first half but Hurst equalised in the second half. At full time after an exceptionally intense game, it was 1-1 but Eastbourne lost in the penalty shuffles 2-4. Both sides are to be congratulated for the incredibly high standard of hockey- it was end to end.
