Steeplechase 2017
The 2017 Eastbourne College steeplechase took place on Thursday 16 March. Runners from every house and every year group gathered on the South Downs to compete in this traditional annual event and with almost every pupil wearing their specific house shirt, it was a very colourful event.
The weather was kind and whilst the start was briefly encased in a rather chilly sea mist, the competitors quickly emerged into glorious spring sunshine for the majority of the race.
The winning houses were Blackwater and Reeves.
The individual results for the six classes were as follows:
Junior Girls
