Sports Dinner 2013
College parents, friends and staff gathered on the evening of 9 February for the inaugural Eastbournian Society Sports Dinner. The dining hall was awash with red, white and blue in celebration of London 2012 and the guests of honour were two of the UK’s bronze medal winning Olympic hockey players, Anne Panter and Hannah Macleod.
Following a superb meal prepared by the College Catering Department, Anne and Hannah delighted the audience with a lively question and answer session. The meal was served by College pupils who will be taking part in sports tours later this term – the netballers to Barbados and the cricketers to Sri Lanka.
This was one of a series of social events in the Eastbournian Society calendar, which aim to bring together anyone with a connection to the College – past, present or future.
