Ski trip 2015
During
the first week of the Easter holidays a group of 26 pupils and staff visited
Mayrhofen in Austria for the College 2015 ski trip.
On
arrival in the resort the group was divided into two groups – an intermediate
and advanced skiers class and for the first time, a snowboarding class.
The
pupils attended four hours of lessons per day for six days and everyone made
excellent progress during the week. The weather varied from bright sunshine at
the start of the trip to 15cm of snow by the end of the week.
The sixth
form pupils enjoyed a day in fancy dress on the slopes and acted with
maturity and consideration for others at all times. Several comments were
received from other skiers about how well the College pupils looked after each
other.
