P150 update Nov 2016
Progress on the Project 150 build is continuing well and it is hoped that the pavilion and academic block will be handed over to the College by contractors VINCI in around six weeks time.
Academic block
Brickwork is nearing completion on the external elevations and VINCI anticipates starting to remove the scaffolding along Old Wish Road next week.
Internally, there is a large team of people working on the installation of ceilings, electrical and mechanical services, joinery, WCs and general decoration.
Ductwork and lagging are being installed on the roof and the connection of mains power is scheduled for Saturday 19 November.
Sports Block
Steelwork is currently being erected for this next phase of the development, along with backfill around the basement. The swimming pool walls are being constructed and external drainage and services are being installed.
