P150 update April 2016
As we enter the final weekend of April, Senior Project Manager for VINCI, Mike Rozier, reports:
“After some challenging engineering issues related to the groundwater, VINCI are now digging down again and the next few weeks should see a huge amount of soil and rock excavated and carted away. Work will then begin on the formation of concrete slabs for the swimming pool plantroom.
The construction of the pavilion roof will take place in the next couple of weeks. The ground-floor of the classroom block has been completed and the positioning of the concrete first-floor planks should be finished soon after the Bank Holiday weekend. After some concrete works to the floor perimeter, the installation of first floor walls will commence from the 9 May.”
