NSEA Championships
Members of the Eastbourne College equestrian team travelled to Addington Park Equestrian Centre in, Buckinghamshire to compete in the NSEA Championships.
The team members invited to Addington Park were Lauren Carr, Lily Kelly, Rosie Kelly and Tabi Underhill. All the girls and horses were excellent and successfully negotiated a very challenging course in the 80/85cm Novice Arena Eventing class. they were competing against 26 other schools that included Millfield, Mayfield, and Cranleigh. The Eastbourne girls were placed 20th and their parents, Team Trainer Judi Piper-Dadswell and Equestrian Team Manager, Kathryn Hobden were delighted with their team performance.
On Sunday 2 November a group of Eastbourne College riders took part in an NSEA showjumping event at Felbridge.
The teams included Rosie Brown, Claire Day, Harriet Dipper, Natasha Gale, Phoebe Gale, Lily Kelly, Rosie Kelly and Serena Flower. Everyone rode well – all successfully negotiating the courses in the 70cm, 80cm and 90cm classes.
The Blue Team which comprised Natasha Gale, Phoebe Gale, Lily Kelly and Serena Flower, finished 4th out of 15 schools in the novice 80cm class – with three clear rounds. An excellent result!
