Marathon man
On Sunday 6 April, Tim Marriott, Director of Drama at Eastbourne College took his place amongst the competitors for the 2014 Brighton Marathon. He was running to raise funds for St Wilfrid’s Hospice in Eastbourne – a charity that the College supports whenever it can.
This was Tim’s first ever experience of running a marathon and despite hitting the renowned ‘wall’ at around 18 miles into the course, with the support of other runners, his family and friends, he successfully completed the event.
