Headmaster’s Commendations May 2014
The Headmaster is pleased to commend the following pupils:
Katya Goodwin, Year 10 Watt, and George Tomsett, Year 10 Gonville, for their dedication and professionalism in sustaining the two handed performance of Two. Over the 45 minutes they demonstrated great focus, discipline and concentration and it was terrific to watch.
Anna Commins, Year 13 Watt, Eloise Hodgson, Year 13 Nugent and Tom Page, Year 12 Craig, for their commitment and support with the Arts Connect project. Their presence each Thursday afternoon has been appreciated by both the participants and the organisers. They were at all times fully involved, a pleasure to work with and a real credit to the College.
Katya Goodwin and Thivya Kularajan, both Year 10 Watt, for their highly efficient planning and organisation of a successful busking event to raise money for the Rainbow Orphanages in Sri Lanka. They demonstrated excellent team skills persuading their peers to participate, visiting and supporting each act and recording the event to make a scrap book to take to the orphanages when they visit next year.
