GB triathlon
Year 13 pupil, Luke Howard recently travelled to Llanelli, South Wales, to participate in a qualification gateway event to represent Great Britain in European Cup Junior Triathlon events.
A top 10 finish was required and Luke successfully achieved 9th place.
This impressive performance qualified him for the Junior Triathlon European Development Team and allows him to compete in the following events:
1. ETU European Triathlon Junior Cup – France (Chateauroux)
2. ETU European Triathlon Junior Cup – Hungary (Tiszaujvaros)
3. ETU European Triathlon Junior Cup – Holland (Holten)
In addition to this tremendous achievement, Luke will also compete in the National Aquathlon Championships in London at the end of May and the British Triathlon Championships in Liverpool during the summer.
