Eton tennis
A squad of 14 boys and girls travelled to Eton College on Sunday 2 July to compete in the 2017 National Independent Schools tennis finals.
A great deal of very competitive tennis was played by all squad members but congratulations must go to Ellie Dasent and Valentina Khlaturina who fought their way through to the national final having beaten Repton School in the semi-final.
They lost a closely fought contest 6-4 6-3 to Culford School who had beaten Millfield School in their semi-final. A brilliant effort from the girls and great to see Eastbourne College featuring at the top of the schools game.
