Eastbourne golf
On a perfect June evening at the Royal Eastbourne Golf Club, six houses competed in the 2015 House Golf competition.
Pairs from each house set off with great confidence of low scores only to find the stiff breeze challenged their preconceptions! All played well and it was particularly encouraging to see three Year 10 boys representing their houses – Peter Dickenson, Charlie Edwards and Christian Richards. Peter won the honour of the best round by a junior player.
The more senior players were Brad Evans, Jack Fletcher-Price, Tom Matthes, Jacob Perrett, Charley Klus, Christian Trzebinski and Ben Twine.
As the sun set over refreshments on the balcony of the Royal Eastbourne Club House, Pennell received the prize for House Golf 2015.
