East Sussex champions Dec 2016
The Eastbourne College equestrian team recently competed at the County Show Jumping qualifying competition at Felbridge in the 90cm, 1m and 1.10m classes.
The College’s best performance was at 90 cm where the team comprising Imo Carr, Charlie Pincus, India Piper-Dadswell and Will Reeves, won the class beating Hurstpierpoint College and and Mayfield to become East Sussex champions. They will go on to represent East Sussex at Bury Farm in April.
The College riders competed well at 1m but were not placed, however at 1.10m both individuals who entered were placed – Nick Crowther achieved 5th in the horses section and Rosie Kelly came 2nd in the ponies section.
Well done to everyone who took part at the County qualifiers and to the whole team on a great term’s riding.
