DofE Gold Awards
On Monday 16 December five Eastbourne College pupils attended the 2013 Duke of Edinburgh Awards Presentation at Herstmonceaux Castle to receive their gold awards. The certificates were presented by the Lord Lieutenant of Sussex, Mr Peter Field and Mr Colin Belsey, Chairman of East Sussex County Council.
The pupils at the presentation were Katherine Allan, Amy Corfield, Ella Harriott, Alex Hodges and William Langer.
A further eight College pupils also successfully completed their gold awards during the year – Oliver Bensted-Smith, John Dowling, Elizabeth Hodkinson, Tom Kirwan, Kenneth Lam, Jonathan Langer, Siana Pendlebery and Alex Simpson.
