Design technology success
Once again, Eastbourne College pupils studying design and technology have been honoured at the Young Craftsman of the Year Award at the 2016 South of England Show.
The following pupils have received awards:
1st in Design and Technology – Jonathan Fieldhouse (Year 13, Powell)
2nd in Wood – Harry Byatt (Year 13, Gonville)
3rd in Wood – Mario Pulze (Year 12, Craig)
U17s Award in Wood – James Allan (Year 11, Craig)
U17s Award in Ceramics – James Allan (Year 11, Craig)
Highly Commended in Design and Technology – TaThumrongwongkawin (Year 11, Gonville)
Highly Commended in Design and Technology – George Skinner (Year 11, Wargrave)
Highly Commended in Design and Technology – Rahul Radia (Year 11, Craig)
Highly Commended in Design and Technology – Max Al-Hasso (Year 11, Reeves)
Highly Commended in Design and Technology – Louis Wilson (Year 11, Powell)
As a direct result of having his work displayed at the show, Jonathan Fieldhouse (pictured above) has received two expressions of interest – one from an individual wishing to purchase his competition entry and one from a company interested in working with him.
