Confirmation Service May 2017
On Sunday 7 May the Rt. Revd. Richard Jackson, Bishop of Lewes, visited Eastbourne College to confirm ten pupils from Years 9 to 12 in the College Chapel.
This marked the end of a term of preparation looking at a variety of Christian themes and living as a Christian in the 21st century with all its pressures and demands. A quiet day was held just before the confirmation at a wonderful retreat near Rye.
The service was extremely well attended with large numbers of family and friends supporting those being confirmed, including a former Bishop of Durham supporting his grandson.
