CCF RAF success
Sergeant Chay Kent has successfully completed the RAF’s prestigious Leadership Course at RAF Cranwell. This week-long course aims to train the leaders of the future and is a very rigorous combination of teamwork, endurance, leadership skills, personal discipline and qualities and a sense of humour!
Corporal Will Dickens has completed a gliding scholarship during which he was taught how to fly the RAF’s Viking gliders from RAF Kenley. At the end of the week, he had so impressed the instructors that he was authorised to fly solo and so earned his gliding wings. Will has also been placed 40th in the country in his application to secure a full flying scholarship for this summer.
