CCF equestrian competition
Cadet LCpl William Reeves recently competed as one of 20 selected
riders for a place on the National UK Cadet Forces equestrian team. The
competition took place at Flemish Farm, Windsor. During the competition riders
were judged on their team abilities whilst riding horses from the Light
Cavalry Honourable Artillery Company.
The judge’s comments included that the standard of competition was
very high this year (which made his job a difficult one). To have been selected
for a place on this prestigious trial was an accolade in itself. Will
unfortunately was not successful in securing a place in the final team. The
CCF team will in due course compete against regular and reserve units military
units from across Europe. The College is hugely proud of his efforts.
