Awesome Athletics
On the afternoon of Friday 26 April, the sun shone (well almost) and the whole school decamped for a short journey to the Eastbourne Sports Park where a myriad of track and field events for all years took place. Not daunted by an early but quick hail storm the clouds cleared and the Houses did battle with each other in a competitive afternoon of high quality athletics at a premier class venue. Pennell House finished overall winners for the Boys and Blackwater House emerged triumphant for the Girls (only one point in front of Watt House). James Potter (Year 12 Reeves) was crowned Senior Victor Ludorum and Abi East (Year 12 Watt) was crowned Senior Victrix Ludorum in what was a celebration of achievement and endeavour in a spirited but good natured afternoon.
