Alive with music
On Friday 2 May music was to be heard across the College site as a group of pupils entertained staff and peers by busking through morning break. They were raising funds for the Rainbow Orphanages in Sri Lanka.
Two fellow pupils, Katya Goodwin and Thivya Kularajan, both Year 10, Watt, are travelling to Sri Lanka to work as volunteers at the orphanages next summer and this event was the first of several planned to raise a minimum of £500 donation for the Rainbow charity.
The £210 raised by the buskers was a fine start towards Katya and Thivya’s fundraising goal.
