Supporting excellence
Eastbourne College believes exceptional talent should be supported and nurtured. The College believes that the major contribution we can make to scholars is the development of their specialism through tailored provision and support. We have strong programmes in place for scholars of all disciplines to develop their talents and help them to inspire those around them.
In line with most comparable independent schools, most awards are between five per cent and 20 per cent, although these values can be supplemented by a means-tested bursary.

SIXTH FORM Scholarship and Bursary Information
Means-tested support to extend access to the College
Every year the College gives financial support in the form of means-tested bursaries for families of pupils who would not otherwise be able to attend and whose main family residence is in the UK. The relevant fee remission varies in value depending on financial need, and all bursaries are subject to means-testing.
Means testing is completed by our partner, Bursary Administration Limited and will involve a home visit. Bursaries are not available for families who reside overseas due to visa requirements.
Please note that for the College to process a bursary application, it is necessary for the child to be registered with us.
