ICE contemporary swimming session
College swimmers were fortunate to benefit from one-to-one training with GBR Olympic and Commonwealth swimmers, Joe Roebuck and Amy Smith. The pupils were able to get some top tips from Joe and Amy who, since retiring from the sport in 2014, have set up a successful coaching company. Joe and Amy were very generous with their time. Having spent the day providing contemporary professional development sessions to Eastbourne College swimming coaches and other coaches from around the country, they turned their attention to our swimmers, updating their knowledge of the major strokes, touch turns and starts.
