Parenting Teens talk
Alicia Drummond visited the College to give a talk about Parenting Teens. The workshop was designed to give parents a better understanding of teenagers, the tools and skills for a smooth ride through adolescence, and a forum to exchange ideas and thoughts with other parents. Alicia touched on topics such as how teenagers’ emotional, physical and cognitive developmental needs drive behaviour, building self-confidence, and maintaining lines of communication. Alicia’s talk was realistic, humorous, supportive and gave some helpful tips.
