Watt House Colour Fun Run
What an incredible day it was at Eastbourne College for the Watt House Colour Run this past Sunday. The energy was high, the sun was shining, and the support from the community was overwhelming. Participants of all ages gathered for an afternoon filled with fun, laughter, and lots of colour. From the spirited tug of war to the delicious treats on offer at the bake sale, there was something for everyone to enjoy. And, of course, the highlight of the day was the Colour Run itself, where participants were showered in vibrant hues as they ran, walked, and danced their way around the course.
We are thrilled to announce that a fantastic total of £1,778 was raised! This will be going to the JPK Project, a truly inspiring local charity dedicated to supporting young people with learning disabilities and their families. The funds will make a real difference in helping the JPK Project continue its vital work within the community. In addition to this, a percentage of the money raised will also be donated to the Blue Sky Bursaries, which help provide educational opportunities to those in need.
A massive thank you goes out to everyone who made this day possible, from the organisers to the volunteers, and, of course, everyone who came out to take part and cheer on the runners. Your support and enthusiasm were what made this day so special.
We’re already looking forward to next year—let’s make this an annual tradition. Here’s to even more fun, community spirit, and, of course, a lot more colour in the years to come.
