Charity Lunch Feb 2017
On Tuesday 21 February pupils and staff at the College exchanged their usual lunch of various hot and cold main courses and desserts for a frugal meal of a baked potato, cheese and beans followed by a piece of fruit. This generated a saving of £450 on the cost of catering for the day and all of the money saved will be donated to the High Five Breakfast Club in South Luangua, Zambia.
This sum will buy breakfast for 60 children at the Malimba Basic School in Zambia every day for a year.
The High Five Breakfast Club charity, established in 2014 thanks to generous donations from Eastbourne College, currently feeds 400 children in Zambia.
