New York art trip
A group of Year 12 and 13 pupils spent the half-term break in New York on a creative arts trip.
They visited a number of galleries, including MoMa (Museum of Modern Art) and Cooper Hewitt, the Smithsonian Design Museum. They also enjoyed a backstage theatre tour and watched a Broadway show.
In an action packed few days they also managed to visit the 9/11 Memorial, the Statue of Liberty, Top of the Rock and the High Line, a unique public park built on a historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan's West Side.
A very busy and enjoyable week was had by pupils and staff.
