Top Sussex tennis
Two Eastbourne College sixth-form pupils, Eleanor Chapman and Ellie Dasent played for the Sussex Tennis senior team with notable success in Liverpool last weekend. They both won their debut singles matches and their excellent match-play helped Sussex to finish third in their group.
Both girls joined Year 12 in September and have impressed everyone with their determination and positive attitude towards the top level tennis training they are receiving at the College.
They have made some good improvements this term helping the Eastbourne College first tennis team to some impressive victories against club sides and current national tennis champions Queenswood School.
