Geoffrey Williams Arts Bursary
The annual Geoffrey Williams Arts Bursary competition winners were announced on Saturday 5 March. Pupils from a number of Eastbourne Schools submitted work to be judged by distinguished local artists in the GCSE and A level categories.
Two Year 13 Eastbourne College pupils received particular recognition. Rebecca Nurse won the senior category for her painted tent installation entitled ‘Home Comforts’ and Aimee Pearson was delighted to be highly commended for her equally thought provoking piece entitled 'Global Extinction'.
