Cricket at Lords
On Thursday 11 February five Eastbourne College cricketers (Oscar Boulter, Ollie Lowe, Tom Stewart-Blacker, Marcus Winston and Will Wright) spent the afternoon training with five former England internationals at the MCC Cricket Academy at Lords.
The boys received some expert advice on batting from current England batting coach, Mark Ramprakash and on bowling from England seamer, Matthew Hoggard. Former Leicestershire and England wicket-keeper Paul Nixon gave them some tips whilst Claire Taylor, (the first female Wisden Cricketer of the Year) and Ali Brown (Surrey and England opening batsman) helped them develop their fielding and throwing.
