Sussex Champions again
On Thursday 4 February Eastbourne College U14 boys retained the County Trophy for the best hockey side in Sussex with a thrilling 3–1 win against Ardingly College at Lewes Hockey Club. The goals were scored by Reubin Hart (one) and Henry Turnbull (two).
The Eastbourne College team had beaten Bedes 4–0 in 20 minutes in a one sided semi-final at Ardingly the previous week. On that occasion, the Eastbourne boys scored 19 goals without reply during the course of the day.
In addition to being Sussex Champions, their match wins so far this term include Tonbridge 6–2 and Ardingly 2–0.
