Sussex Champions Oct 2015
On Thursday 15 October, the Eastbourne College girls1st XI won the Sussex U18 Hockey tournament for the second consecutive year. During the event they won five of their six group matches beating Brighton College, Hurstpierpoint, Moira House, St Leonards Mayfield and Worth School.
Playing Ardingly in the final, who they had lost narrowly to earlier in the day, the 1st XI were leading 2–0 only for Ardingly to equalise near the end of the match. The result needed to be decided on penalty flicks which Eastbourne duly won to become County U18 Champions and defend the title they won last year.
They move on to the Regional Finals along with the U16s hockey team.
