Rugby internationals
Two Old Eastbournians, both former Gonvillians, were on international rugby duty last weekend.
Piers O’Conor was a member of the England U20 squad who met Wales in Calvasiano, Italy on Saturday 6 June for their second match of the World Rugby U20 Championship. England won the match 30–16. They had previously beaten tournament newcomers Japan and will face France in Viadana, Italy on Wednesday 10 June.
Seb Nagle-Taylor has recently been selected for the 2015 England Rugby Sevens squad and was in action in Moscow over the weekend of 6/7 June in the first leg of Rugby Europe’s 2015 Grand Prix Sevens series.
The series comprises three tournaments – Moscow, followed by Lyon (13/14 June) and Exeter (11/12 July).
