Army appointment
Anthony Lamb, Assistant Head Co-Curricular at Eastbourne College, has been appointed as Colonel Cadets for 11 ( Infantry) Brigade. This voluntary role will support the Brigade Commander in the direction and supervision of Army Cadet activity – both Army Cadet Force (ACF) and Combined Cadet Force (CCF) – across the seven counties in the South East with 59 school Combined Cadet Forces (CCFs) and seven County Army Cadet Forces (ACFs) stretching from Kent to Oxfordshire.
Anthony will act as the Brigade Commander’s eyes and ears; assisting and advising in the development of Brigade strategy and policy direction for 3,500 adult volunteers and permanent staff as they strive to deliver the cadet experience to 22,000 cadets.
Anthony gained invaluable experience for this job from his ongoing role as Contingent Commander at Eastbourne College CCF and recently spent three years as County Commandant of Sussex Army Cadet Force.
