Preparing for the Nationals
The College U16A girls hockey team secured their place in the National Finals in November with highly impressive performances at both the county and regional rounds. With the National Finals taking place at Cannock Hockey Club on Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 February, they are busy training to improve their skills and level of fitness under the watchful eye of their coach, Rob Hill, Director of Hockey (a former GB Olympic hockey player and county and divisional coach).
Rob is delighted with how the training is progressing: ‘The girls are working hard in the training sessions and practice matches against the boys. They are incredibly excited about the prospect of playing in the Nationals.’
