Off to the Nationals
The College U16A girls hockey team have secured their place in the National Finals. This is a superb achievement.
At the Regional Finals on Wednesday 27 November they won their semi-final 1–0 against St George’s, Weybridge, but unfortunately lost 4–5 on penalty flicks in a very tight final against Cranleigh.
This result means that the girls are regional runners-up and have qualified as one of the last eight schools in the country to play out for the national title.
The National Finals will take place at Cannock Hockey Club on Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 February.
