Grassroots showjumping
On Sunday 3 November a group of pupils travelled to Felbridge to represent the College at a National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) inter-schools showjumping competition.
The College team of Rosie Brown, Lauren Carr, Claire Day and Charlotte Giles won the team 60cm Grassroots qualifier. This guaranteed the girls’ entry into the South East Grassroots Showjumping Championships on Saturday 9 November at the Royal Leisure Equestrian Centre in Henfield.
The team for the championship comprised Rosie, Lauren and Claire and their horses.
On 9 November everyone completed the 60cm course successfully with Lauren finishing as the fourth fastest rider in the competition. In the 70cm event Lauren was placed in second position, and Rosie in third.
