Young Designer of The Year
Several Design & Technology students from Eastbourne College are celebrating success in the South of England Show Young Designer of the Year Competition.
Over the last fourteen years Eastbourne College has won the Design Technology category nine times. Pupils have also won a wide range of other awards in this and the other categories of wood, metal, textiles and ceramics.
Following a 3rd place award in 2012, this year Chayton Kent, Year 13 Powell, won the DT category with a stunning design for storing violins. Archie Mackellar, Year 11 Wargrave was awarded 3rd place for his contemporary resin table with aluminium inlay.
