Smarden Bell golf triumph
Adam Godfrey, Year 13 Powell, was the individual winner of the prestigious Smarden Bell golf tournament held recently at the Chart Hills Course in Kent.
Adam, who plays off a handicap of three, scored thirty Stableford points on the challenging course to secure the highest score of the round playing against golfers from five other schools. The tournament celebrates its tenth anniversary this year.
Adam is planning to study in the United States next year and has been awarded a golf scholarship to Limestone College in South Carolina.
