Confirmation Service April 2013
On Sunday 28 April the Rt Revd Michael Turnbull, former Bishop of Durham, confirmed twenty-one College pupils into the Church of England in the College Chapel. The service was attended by the candidates’ families and friends.
The pupils, mainly in Year 10, have been meeting with the Chaplain for confirmation classes on a weekly basis since January to explore different aspects of the Christian faith. They also had an awayday to Ashburnham Place on 23 April.
Each candidate received a copy of Philip Yancey’s book ‘What’s so amazing about grace?’ as a confirmation gift from the College.
