Outstanding Fives success
The College 1st Fives team has recorded its most successful season for fifteen years, winning all ten matches, some by huge margins.
Chay Kent, playing at number one has been an excellent captain, but the real success of the team is based on six players, all of similar excellent standard. This squad included two left-handers, Dominic Barnes and Joe Leale-Greene, who have enabled the College to field strong doubles pairings.
Chay and Dominic have been ever-present in the team throughout the term and whenever a player has been absent or injured Joe Tickle, Philipp Teterin and Ed Richards have been available to call upon. All three of these players would merit permanent selection in almost every other team in the country.
