Sporting endeavour
Jonny Robinson, Year 13 Craig, was awarded the Simon Green Cup for Sporting Endeavour at the end of the Lent term.
Jonny is the captain of the 1st XI hockey team and has played yet another remarkable season to cap off a great career with the sport at Eastbourne College. He has never let any obstacle get in his way thoughout his time playing hockey at the College and to reach the levels he has is an amazing achievement. He has put his heart and soul into College hockey and been a huge supporter of Eastbourne Hockey Club hockey along the way. Jonny is a real role model and is without a doubt the deserving winner of this term’s Simon Green Cup for Endeavour.
The award was established in memory of Simon Green, a teacher at the College and was donated by his mother to the pupil who has shown the greatest endeavour in sport.
