Fastest in Sussex
Josh Pankhurst went to the Sussex County Swimming Championships recently and stormed to success in the Open 100m Freestyle in 51.40 seconds, taking an amazing two seconds off his personal best. This superb swim will push him way up the National Ranking (short course) for 17 year olds. He then broke the record for the open age group 200m freestyle making him the fastest man in Sussex.
Inspired by Josh’s performance, Luke Stacey was crowned county champion in the 50m freestyle for the 14 year old age group.
