Profession
Sam is in his first year of the Science and Engineering Civil Service Fast Stream (SEFS), working for the Home Office. This programme aims to accelerate the development of STEM graduates to the most senior positions within the civil service. Sam’s most recent placement is in the Animals in Science Regulation Unit (ASRU) which aids the replacement, reduction and refinement of animals for testing and ensures non-animal alternatives are used without slowing the fast pace of life sciences research in the UK.
